Laird of the Rings Reviewed
So we are here in the second episode of Carpoolers, and after a first week that left a lot to be desired, this second week really stepped it up in a big way. Although I don’t necessarily see a major point to the show, I actually got a few laughs out of it. First off the big plot line for this week’s episode is obviously Laird who asks for Gracen’s wedding ring, he wants the ring to pick up on some girl he just met who only wants to be with married men. Well during this whole escapade, we have Dougie and Aubrey interacting on the important of “we” rather then “me”. This all comes up when Dougie finds Aubrey going to a motel in which he believes Aubrey is cheating on his wife, but rather he just wants to be alone for me time. Obviously the most fun I had with the show was with Marmaduke (what a name), Gracen’s son, who is just completely out of it.
I still don’t see much congruence in the show, it for the most part doesn’t make any sense and this is is hard for the show to manage to connect with an audience, however at the same time the show this week felt a lot more enjoyable and for me I didn’t mind sitting through it as much. Is the show going to stay on the air? Well it’s going to need to continue improve in week’s to come to make it to that point! We will be back tomorrow with the ratings to see how well the sophomore episode faired in the ratings.
