How to keep your car from getting stolen
Keep your car in Garage. The garage should be used for the purpose it was built, and not as a bin for the entire house’ clutter. Ah! and don’t forget to lock the garage.
2. Turn the car off, even when you go out for a minute. Don’t keep it running.
3. Install a car tracking device, like Lojack. It gets activated after a theft report is made to the police. There are other more costly devices also, which use GPS system.
4. Don’t show off your expensive stuff. If your laptop or nokia cell is lying unattended, and in plain view, it is an invitation for theft.
5. Use straight locks. T-locks can be easily tampered.
6. And finally remember to lock your car and take your keys with you. You know most of the cars are stolen when either they are not locked, or have keys in them.
