So you are buying a new car. You have selected the company, the model, the make, and all set to drive home the baby. But have you considered how you are going to pay for the beauty? You have several options. It’s great if you have cash. You won’t have to worry about interest and installments. But most of us don’t have that amount of money ready in our pockets. You can get a loan through a dealer, but the catch is that such loans are given to buyers with Class- A rating. Or you can go for bank loans. They offer low rates of interest. You can opt for leasing, it will reduce monthly costs. It’s better to get the financial aspect sorted out, before beginning the negotiation.

Thinking of shifting home or taking a vacation in other city? Planning a road trip? You should take care of a few matters if you want to take your pet with you. First and foremost, the carrier should be good and spacious, to give the pet enough room to play and take naps. Get him used to it by taking him on some short trips. Pack enough food and water for the way, but don’t over feed him, or he may throw up. If you are halting at some stops, don’t take your pet out of the carrier, as he may dash out speedily and run away. Keep the temperature at normal. Don’t let the car overheat. Don’t forget to put litter box in the carrier. Keep some wipes or tissue papers in case “accidents” happen.

Summer is round the corner. Now is a good time to give your car a check-up, to make it ready for high temperatures. Check pressure in tires. Tire failure can be very dangerous. See if there is any damaged hose or torn belts. Make sure that the coolant has right mixture of water and coolant. You also need to check motor oil. Give a quick look at the emergency kit. There should be first aid kit, flash light and flares in it. Most important of all, keep your air conditioner in good condition. Your air conditioner will help to keep a cool head in blistering heat.A quick and easy automotive checkup can help prepare a vehicle for the stress of high temperatures and increase its reliability on long road trips.

Maintenance is the mantra here. If you have bought a good car in the first place, and you follow the maintenance schedule in the Owner’s manual, then half of the work is done. Now all you have to do is to keep a keen eye on your car. Take good care of it, be attentive to strange noises or rumblings. Every work once in a while let someone else drive you to work. You get accustomed to your car, but others might easily notice, those faults that you may have overlooked. Don’t delay the fix ups. Otherwise problem will get worse. When making household budget, include repair funds in it. You should have some money saved for occasional denting and painting. And remember you are no car racing champion looking to compete in formula one, so drive like a normal human being.
