Carpoolers A Divorce to be Remembered
There is no doubt the opening scene for Carpoolers was one of the strongest opening the show has seen thus far this season. We have the four gentleman rocking out to hold music, it was classic. This was the sort of scene that I worried would get played out, but it really just works for the show. The main idea however behind the episode is that Dougie wants to renew his vows. He talks about his actual wedding day and a dead whale ruining everything. The whole story is actually pretty creative and so renewing his vows is his intention to make up for ruining his wedding.
Laird has always been known as the lady’s man, and he has been known for his satirical comedy in the show as well. However Laird acts different today and the rest of the gang knows it must me Joaniffer his evil ex-wife. First off the names in this show are fantastic, Joaniffer is among my favorite in terms of names. Joaniffer is this big busty blonde who as she states gets it going whenever the wind hits her right. Laird and her seem great for about a day after she spent a good year in India, and she goes back to being her old self quickly following that.
The best part of the show, and this episode continues to be Marmaduke. He really is the saving grace of Carpoolers He has about three to five minutes in each episode and makes everyone of them a worthwhile experience. There is no question that when he saw Joaniffer the reaction was absolutely hilarious. Overall A Divorce to be Remembered was a great episode, it struggled for a few minutes in the middle, but it was one where I had more laugh out loud moments then the majority of the episodes prior.
